Are you struggling or striving to make something happen? Maybe you need a breakthrough in your finances or in a relationship. It’s good to do everything we know to do in the natural, but we have to always remember that victory doesn’t come by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the living God.

One translation says, “It’s by the breath of Almighty God.” When you know God is breathing in your direction and dare to take a leap of faith and say, “Yes, this is my time; I’m going to accomplish my dreams,” that’s when you will feel a wind beneath your wings. That’s when you’ll feel a supernatural lift, an anointing that will help you accomplish what you could not accomplish on your own.

Today, know that the wind of God is blowing. This is your season. This is your time to believe again. Believe that God can open doors that no man can shut. Believe that He is working behind the scenes in your favor. Believe that it’s your season, it’s your time and get ready to embrace every blessing He has in store for you!

To The L.A Times on their Article against EDM

“This past Sunday, the L.A Times ran an article which was essentially an inflammatory pummeling of the EDM scene..”

This article is irrelevant and outdated and does not portray our culture correctly.

We would all appreciate and benefit from those guys actually researching and learning about our scene before they make stereotypical and biased assumptions and write a fictitious article.

Massive events are always held on terms that get overseen by engineers, civil servants, fire chiefs and police. Basically, the same codes put into place for other genre’s of music applies to EDM as well. To say otherwise is a lie and is dangerous stereotyping.

I wouldn’t say we ignore the tragic accidents or that  they don’t happen. This isn’t unique to this music or any music for that matter. Drugs can be found at a Foo fighters concert, at Madonna’s, Rock, Pop, Metal, Screamo and even Country for example.

Can the promoter of said events be held responsible for the actions of the individuals at the event? No he can’t at all.

If the U.S can’t handle or get rid of drugs in this country, you shouldn’t expect a promoter to pull it off either.

four-teen deaths in eight years linked to Raves? c’mon guys how about drug related deaths outside of Raves, or gun related deaths in that time?

Articles like this one, fire people like me up in a really passionate way.

“This is a conversation that has been going on for decades. I don’t expect it to end here. But know this: as far as a music culture goes, EDM is the one who will accept the kids on the outliers, the ones who get bullied, the ones who feel like they may not quite fit in. This community is exceptional in its ability to bond all types together, and I am not exaggerating when I say it saves lives. Our audience is intelligent and kind, discriminating only in regards to which sound they like best. Our audience is unprecedented in their drive to proactively support each other.” - Kaskade

It’s not about the drugs, but about the Love of music! To be with like minded souls who feel the same that you do about this music and lifestyle.

Our culture is wonderful, so beautiful. People will bring and extra pack just so people can bum cigs off of them, others will give you a dollar for a water if you need it, or a piece of gum.

People give away their last bit of water to someone beside them who is thirsty, give out massages, trade kandi and you meet new people. a real Rave is where people will make sure that person in the corner with their head down is okay. It’s a way of life that is so much deeper and truer. You have people at Raves without any religion, giving things away to complete strangers. Take this water, this toy, this $50 hat.

It’s an environment where you can go up to a complete stranger and have a conversation like you’ve known each other your entire lives. Where people will compliment you openly and freely hug you and even tell you they love you and  truly mean it.

Raves are… like an alternate society. Where in the real world strangers will stare at you when you need help, maybe even hurt you more. Or judge you by what you are wearing or for openly expressing yourself.

Raves are filled with this other, this beautiful idea of love. I believe Raves are changing the world but for the better.

There’s your story, LA Times. Do the world a favor and don’t fill your articles based on stereotypical and biased lies.
